Cynthia G. Godshall

Cynthia G. Godshall of Millersville, PA, peacefully passed away at her home on Monday, June 5, 2018. Born in Norfolk, England, in 1927, she was the daughter of the late Florence (Allison) and Richard Graves. She was the wife of the late Russell L. Godshall who passed in 1998.
Cynthia immigrated to the United States in 1946 while working for the American Red Cross. She worked for the US Department of Labor as a statistician prior to retiring from Lancaster General Hospital. Cynthia was a member of The Church of Jesus Christ of Latter-day Saints. Cynthia enjoyed gardening, biking, traveling and square dancing with Russell. In her free time she also enjoyed knitting and reading.
Cynthia is survived by her children Barbara J. Peters, wife of M. Wayne of Lititz and Robert R. Godshall, husband of Alisa of Roseville, CA; her 5 grandchildren: Krista Peters Reading (Logan), Kristin Godshall Bishop (Jared), Kelli Godshall Howland (Brenton), Dustin Godshall (Rachael) and Lauren Godshall; her granddaughter-in-law, Leslie Peters, 14 great-grandchildren, her brother Richard A. Graves (Peg) of Lancaster as well as numerous nieces and nephews. Cynthia is preceded in death by her daughter Carol C. Godshall in 2006 and her grandson, Chad M. Peters in 2016.
Interment will be in Mellinger Mennonite Cemetery, 1918 Lincoln Hwy E, Lancaster, PA 17602, at 2PM on Friday, June 8, 2018. In lieu of flowers, please make contributions in Cynthia’s memory to the charity of your choice.
