Curtis “Jalen” Harris, 23

November 30, 2017

Curtis “Jalen” Harris, 23, of East Petersburg, passed away November 30, 2017. He was born January 25, 1994, the son of Jennifer L. Wilson, East Petersburg, and Curtis M. Harris, Lancaster. Jalen graduated from Hempfield High School in 2012 and earned his Bachelor’s degree from Bloomsburg University in 2016.

Jalen was a junior finance analyst by trade, and an avid home chef. He was an incredibly hardworking young man who strived each and every day to achieve his goals.

Jalen was generous to a fault, he had a heart of gold, yet he sugar coated nothing. Always a class act, Jalen always kept his family and friends laughing.

Jalen was a great brother to his siblings, Aubri, Jordan, Stephanie, Alezia, Isiah, Jazmyn, Noah, and Nicholas and uncle to his niece and nephew Kamryn and Brycen.

Curtis “Jalen” Harris leaves behind to remember his all too short life, too many family and friends to name here. He was loved by so many and the memory of his life will continue to inspire and encourage everyone who knew him to never stop pursuing their dreams.

Memorial Services for Jalen will be held at Faith United Methodist Church, 1290 Fruitville Pike, Lititz, PA 17543. Visitation with the family will be Wednesday, December 6, 2017 from 5-7pm and the service will follow. In lieu of flowers, donations in his name may be sent to the Hempfield Youth Association Scholarship Fund, PO Box 152, Landisville, Pa 17538.

You gave to the world a generous, caring, compassionate, humerous, intelligent, succesful young man. You were his number one fan. There could be no words to erase this pain, but I’ll walk with you in the heartbreak, and Jalen will always be by your side to comfort you through your sorrow. Love you best friend. Heidi
