Cristine L. Reese, 48

September 28, 2018

Cristine L. Reese, 48 years of age, born in Edison, NJ was the loving daughter of Edward & Betty (Junod) Cramer, sister to John Cramer, aunt to Bradley Bodine, and former wife of 13 years and friend to David Reese. Cris grew up in Throop, PA and graduated from Mansfield University. She relocated to Lancaster County in 1997. Cris was employed by Johnson & Johnson Consumer, Inc. from 2005 until the time of her death on September 28, 2018, and would often volunteer to work when an extra hand was needed.
Cris will be remembered as a fierce warrior who battled three different cancers with strength and bravery until she took her last breath. She wore her heart on her sleeve and was the first one to offer to help anyone that needed it. Cris loved animals and especially her 4-legged “baby” Lucy who was named after her grandmother. She enjoyed attending and watching Nascar races as well as traveling with friends. Above all else, Cris loved her friends, from her hometown friends to her many friends she made through work whom she considered her family. She was so very loved and admired by all that she spent time around. She was a champion for cancer awareness and leader of her company’s American Cancer Society’s Relay for Life team.
Friends and Family will be received from 1-2:30 PM with a Celebration of Cristine’s Life to begin at 2:30 PM on Saturday, October 13, 2018 at the Charles F. Snyder, Jr. Funeral Home & Crematory, 3110 Lititz Pike, Lititz, PA 17543. In lieu of flowers, contributions may be made to the ACS of Lancaster County, Rely for Life Team “Johnson & Johnson Lititz/Lancaster”, 314 Good Drive, Lancaster, PA 17603 or to the Humane League of Lancaster County, 2195 Lincoln Highway East, Lancaster, PA 17602.

I just learned of her passing and has spent time looking for her for years. I’m so saddened by this news. We were good friends in college and spent much time together. XO Jen

We are grief stricken to come upon the news of Cris’ passing.  We moved from Lancaster in 2006 and lost touch.  Our deepest sympathy to her family and friends.  She was obviously loved very much.

A beautiful soul, full of love and faith, ascended to heaven, away from us, but closer to God, leaving loneliness and sadness.

Someone so special can never be forgotten.

My heart goes out to Cris’ family and friends. She was such a greated spirited person; always smiling. She meant so much to all of us especially Colleen and Faith. I am so sorry. God Bless!

Rest easy Cris.  You fought your best.  Will miss your smile and always happy attitude – you made work days more bearable.  It will be hard to accept this as 48 is much too young to lose anyone.  For some reason, heaven needed you more.  I’ll pass word on to Kelly Jr. to stop by and say hello.  Kelly Murphy

My most sincere condolences to Cris’s friends and family. She is one of the bravest people I have ever met and I had the pleasure to work closely with her for 13 years. I will always remember her can-do attitude, her sense of humor, and her infectious laugh. She was an amazing friend and person who I will never forget.

With our most deepest sympathy to all who was important in Cris’s life. She was a role model for all of us. God will always bless you and those who walked beside you in your struggle of a lifetime. My Mom and Dad always loved your visits… you were always so sweet and kind to them. Rest In Peace. The world will miss you.
