Cornelia H. Hamersma, 82

Cornelia H. Hamersma, 82 of Lancaster passed away suddenly into eternal life on Friday, Dec 5, 2008 at Lancaster General Hospital. Born in Prospect Park, NJ, she was the daughter of the late John and Catherine DeBoer Hamersma. Cornelia retired in 1990 from Charles Adams Company in North New Jersey where she worked with accounts and insurance. She was a member of Westminster Presbyterian Church, where she sang in the choir, attended Bible study and small groups at the church.

Surviving are three sisters; Jessie Keyser, Annamae Hamersma who she resided with, Marie wife of Rev. Harry Downs, Lancaster, one brother: John husband of Anne Marie Hamersma, Brookshire, Texas, and nieces and nephews.

A memorial service will be held at the Charles F. Snyder Jr. Funeral Home and Chapel, 3110 Lititz Pike, Lititz Pa on Wednesday, Dec.10, 1008 at 2:00PM with Pastor John Light officiating. Friends may pay their respects to the family from 1:30-2:00PM at the funeral  home on Wednesday.  Interment will be private and held at the convenience of the family. Please omit flowers.
