Clinton Lee Myers, 71

Clinton Lee Myers, 71, of Lancaster, passed away on Sunday, April 22, 2018 at Pinnacle UPMC, Harrisburg. Born in Lancaster, PA, he was the son of the late Aubrey F. Myers and Alice (Boots) Myers. He was the longtime companion of Jamie Mobley.
Clinton attended Pequea Valley High School. He was self-employed in the building maintenance field. Clinton was easy going, fun, loving, understanding, nonjudgmental, and down to earth. He loved to tell stories, listen to music (oldies & old country), do crossword puzzles, & watch westerns (Gunsmoke & John Wayne).
Clinton is survived by his son, Clinton Lee Myers, Jr., of Johnstown, New York; and daughters: Jennifer Myers, of Lemoyne, PA; Star Lee Myers, of Lemoyne, PA; Meagan Lee Myers, of Shiremanstown, PA; and Daytona Lee Myers, of Lebanon, PA; as well as, one grandchild, Valentina Lee Flowers. Also surviving are siblings: Audrey Glover, of Lancaster, PA; James Myers (Margorie), of Lancaster, PA; Hazel Blaylock, of Lancaster, PA; Geraldine Brown, of Lancaster, PA; Joann Washington, of Lancaster, PA; Mary Myers White (Gregory), of Lancaster PA; and Roger Myers, of Lancaster, PA.; along with a host of nieces & nephews. Clinton was preceded in death by daughter, Anika Nunez, sisters, Barbara Rodriques and Agnes Myers, and brothers, William Myers, Aubrey Myers, Jr., Donald Myers, and Robert Myers.
Family and friends are invited to attend a Memorial Service which will take place on Friday, May 4, 2018 at 2:00 PM at Charles F. Snyder Funeral Home & Crematory, 414 East King Street, Lancaster, PA, 17602. The family will receive guests beginning at 1:00 PM. The service will be conducted by Rev. Mike Gant of the House of Bread – Life Changing Ministries. Contributions in Clinton’s memory may be made to the American Cancer Society, 314 Good Drive, Lancaster, PA 17603.

This was a good man … I met him right after Hurricane Agnes in ’72 … we saved Marietta together under a government program, maybe the best job I ever had, Clinton was a joy to work with and I can truly say I learned a lot that summer from him … when that season ended we went on different paths, I never saw him again … he was remembered … was sorry to hear yesterday that he had passed … Ted Knorr, Harrisburg, PA

I worked with Clinton in the early !980’s at CAP. He was a bus driver for our program. Always made us laugh and never knew what he was up too! Easy go lucky and we all loved him for that. Condolences to the family. There is a new and fun loving angel watching from above. Monique Simmons
