Christopher A. Rineer, 52

March 18, 2018

Christopher A. Rineer, 52, of Willow Street, went to be with his Savior on Sunday, March 18, 2018 after a prolonged illness. Born in Lancaster, he was one of six children of the late Cleon and Shirley (Sweigert) Rineer.
Chris graduated from Lampeter-Strasburg High School in 1985. He worked at Thomson Corp for sixteen years as a machinist and in maintenance, and was later employed by the Six M Company in MD. He was very generous with the fish and meat he harvested often sharing with family and friends.
Chris is survived by a son Curtis A. Rineer (Elizabeth) of Holtwood. Also surviving are brothers, Steven (Patricia), Eric (Sonya and nephew Hunter) and Scott (Trish), and a sister Lucinda Bernhardt (Timothy), along with nieces Linda Bernhardt (Lucy/Connor Smeigh) and nephews Nat and Adam Bernhardt (Theresa/Samantha), Jerimiah Rineer (Laura/Madeline), and Joshua Rineer (Melissa/Elijah). In addition to his parents he was predeceased by his brother, Dennis Rineer (Kathy).
Memorial services will be held at the convenience of the family.
