Christine “Chrissy” Marie Sellers, 64
February 25, 2025
Christine “Chrissy” Marie Sellers passed away on February 25, 2025, surrounded by family and loved ones.
Born on August 25,1960 in Reading, PA to Dominic Cammarano and Dolores Cammarano (Ciotti). She graduated from Central Catholic High School in Reading, PA in 1978 and later earned an associate’s degree from Lehigh County Community College in 1984.
Christine’s life was dedicated to helping others. As a mother she tirelessly cared for her kids, taking them to every soccer tournament imaginable. More than just a mom to her children, she loved hosting their friends and classmates at her home. As a grandmother she loved spoiling her grandchildren with enthusiasm and vigor — it was a natural calling to her. This same love for others applied to her career as well; Christine worked for Reading Hospital for over 30 years as a physical therapist assistant, where she treated and cared for patients. She retired in 2020.
Known as “Chris” or “Chrissy” to those around her, she loved spending time with family. With her husband, Matt, they enjoyed exploring the country and visiting national parks, kayaking, exercising, motorcycling, riding bicycle and going for walks.
She also loved drinking coffee around the clock, corny puns, and spending time with her children and grandchildren. She was an endlessly compassionate and nurturing person.
She is preceded in death by her daughter, Maddison McGlory. She is survived by her spouse, Matt Sellers and by 5 children; Amy (Sellers) Heisey, wife of Keith Heisey; and Jeremy Sellers, husband of Ashley (Gensemer); Ian McGlory, husband of Hannah McLaughlin; Austin McGlory partner of Caitlyn Golden; and Hayley (McGlory) Salcedo, wife of Steven Salcedo. She is also survived by three grandchildren, Camryn Heisey, Evan Heisey, and Rowan Salcedo.
She is also survived by four siblings; Dominic J. Cammarano III, husband of Catherine M. (VanLeer) Cammarano; Steven Cammarano, husband of Laurie A. (Landis) Cammarano; Lisa (Cammarano) Mohler, wife of Terry Mohler; and Annette (Cammarano) Eikerenkoetter, wife of Xavier Eikerenkoetter.
A celebration of life is planned for later this year. In lieu of flowers, the family asks that donations in honor of her be made to the Hospice and Community Center of Mount Joy or the Ann B. Barshinger Cancer Institute.

To the entire Cammarano family,
I am so sorry to hear about the passing of Christine. I first met her when we played on opposing teams in CYO basketball. I admired her athletic ability and kindness. When we attended Central together in the same class, she was always smiling and showed kindness to others. I did see her a few times in adult life. when we both worked as therapists alongside each other. It was obvious how much she enjoyed working with her patients.
I will keep you and your family in my thoughts and prayers.
Sincerely. Janet Loeper Scull
