Cherré M. Ranck, 53

September 19, 2014

Cherré M. Ranck, 53, of Lititz joined her soul mate on Friday, September 19, 2014. She was the wife of the late Kevin T. Ranck, with whom she would have celebrated 29 years of marriage with this past May 14th. Born in Landstuhl, Germany she was the daughter of Lester A. and Irmgard (Greinus) Stephenson.

Cherré worked for many manufacturing companies but most recently was employed by Bosch Security Systems. She was a graduate of Hempfield High School.

She loved cats, enjoyed anything that had to do with the color purple and enjoyed drinking wine along with her family and friends. Cherré loved going to the beach, was an avid NASCAR fan and enjoyed being outdoors.

In addition to her parents, she is survived by her son, Tim B. Ranck and her daughter, Erika M. Ranck-Aronson, wife of Christopher E., both of Lititz and her brother Bryan K. Stephenson, of Lancaster.

Friends are invited to a gathering and celebration of Cherré’s life on Tuesday, September 23, 2014 from 2-3:30PM at Charles F. Snyder, Jr. Funeral Home & Crematory, 3110 Lititz Pike, Lititz, PA, with a time of sharing to be held from 3:30-4PM. The family invites everyone who would attend to please wear something purple in honor of Cherré. In lieu of flowers, please make contributions in Cherré’s memory to the American Cancer Society, 314 Good Dr., Lancaster, PA 17603 or Lancaster Co. Cat Rescue, P.O. Box 262, Lancaster, PA 17608.

Cherre’ I knew you in High School and was so saddened to hear you went on already.  When I read your story I was so moved in my heart how your life unfolded  as a wife, a mother, career and your favorite things you enjoyed.   I am sure your children, parents and Bryan, who I remember, will miss you the greatest and I hope wonderful memories of you help carry them through.

Cherre & I were great friends in High School. I regret we didn’t stay in touch , other than exchanging Christmas cards each year. I am very sad to hear that she passed away. I know her children meant the world to her.
RIP my friend! <3
