Hello Dave, Mariah and Autumn. I was not even aware Charlotte had been sick and was devastated to hear of her passing. Having personal experience with burying a family member ‘before their time’, I fully understand Paul’s words in I Thessalonians 4:13 “Brothers and sisters, we do not want you to be uninformed about those who sleep in death, so that you do not grieve like the rest of mankind, who have no hope”. Our loss is GREAT, painful and severe. But who do we love? Charlotte. And Charlotte is absolutely beside herself with peace and joy walking so close to Jesus she can feel His heartbeat. SHE is ecstatic! I do know YOUR pain. Our peace is knowing our loved one will never suffer another day in her life. There is peace and joy in that, even as we long ourselves for her presence. There will be a day when you are all reunited. Until that day, rejoice in her happiness and freedom and flood your minds with those sweet, tender memories of those good times you shared with her. May Jesus bless you with an extra measure of His peace and comfort. Your memories are precious. I will see you on the 26th.
