Charlie DeJesus, 50

Charlie DeJesus, 50, of Lancaster, passed away on February 27, 2017 at home. Born in Brooklyn, NY, he was the son to the late Lazaro DeJesus & Luz Reed. Charlie was the husband of Annette DeJesus.
Charlie was a Karate Instructor and a member of the Conde Lightning. He received a Third Degree Black Belt. He enjoyed working on cars. Charlie had a heart of gold and loved to help people. He will be greatly missed by all who knew him.
Surviving in addition to his wife, Annette, are his sons: Charlie Rivera, Michael Serrano, Anthony Serrano, Lazaro DeJesus and Miguel DeJesus; 9 grandchildren; siblings: Olga Pagan, Israel DeJesus, Zulma DeJesus, Alex DeJesus, Madeline DeJesus, Edwin DeJesus, Mike Torres, Joey Torres, Willie Torres and Oscar Lucret.
A viewing will be held from 9-11 AM with a Funeral Service to begin at 11 AM on Monday, March 6, 2017 at the Charles F. Snyder Funeral Home & Crematory, 414 E. King Street, Lancaster, PA 17602. Charlie will be laid to rest at Mellinger Mennonite Cemetery.

I worked with Charlie, Zulma, and Madeline back in the 70s or early 80s at McDonald’s on the Oregon Pike.  He was a good worker and always so much fun to be around.  My thoughts and prayers are with his family.
