Charles Miller, Sr., 78

Charles Miller, Sr., 78, of Lititz, PA, passed away on May 27, 2016 at Magnolias Of Lancaster. Born in Lititz, he was the son of the late Abram & Mary Miller. Charles was the loving husband of Ann Marie (Dengler) Miller for 59 years.
Charles was a retired truck driver from Yellow Freight and was known as “Mile Maker”. A veteran, he served in the USMC. He was a PA State Constable, a volunteer with the Lititz Fire Dept. & the Brickerville Fire Company. Charles was a member of the American Legion Post 963, Ulysses, PA & the Holiday Ramblers Club. He was an avid hunter in Potter County and NASCAR fan.
Surviving in addition to his wife, Ann, are children: Karen Marie Eberhart, Cheryl Ann Felger & Charles LeRoy Miller, Jr., husband of Diane; 6 grandchildren; 8 great-grandchildren; a sister, Lorraine Shapiro; & a son-in-law, Tony Johnston.
Charles was preceded in death by a daughter, Bonnie Lynn Johnston.
A Memorial Service will be held at 2 PM with friends being received at 1:30 on Sunday, June 5, 2016 at Spacht-Snyder Family Funeral Home & Crematory, 127 S. Broad St., Lititz, PA 17543.

It is with great sadness that I learned of Grandpa’s death. I will always remember riding in his truck to visit Bonnie in the Outer Banks. My thoughts and prayers are with you all in this difficult time. -Tara Antonis
