Charles J. Brigandi, 96

February 26, 2024

Charles J. Brigandi, 96, of Lancaster, Pennsylvania, passed away on Monday, February 26, 2024, at Hospice and Community Care. He was born in Brooklyn, New York, to Carlo and Grace (Letizia) Brigandi. Charles was the proud husband of the late Jimmie F. Brigandi, who passed away in 2019.

A proud veteran of the US Army, Charles served his country with honor. He had a passion for music and spent 40 years as a professional musician, specializing in drums and vibes. Additionally, Charles dedicated 60 years of his life to the printing industry, retiring from Union Camp in 2002. After retirement, he relocated to Pennsylvania to be closer to his children and grandchildren, whom he cherished spending time with.

Charles is survived by his children: Charles Jr. of Parlin, New Jersey, Toni Troccoli, and Karl Brigandi of Lancaster, Pennsylvania. He also leaves behind 8 grandchildren: Joy, Charles, Jean Marie, Jaclyn, Patrick, James, Toni, and Brook, as well as 17 great-grandchildren and his sister, Angie Minuto, of Brooklyn, New York. He was preceded in death by his son, Jimmy Frank Brigandi.

Charles will be deeply missed and cherished by all who knew and loved him. His presence, warmth, and kindness have left an indelible mark on the hearts of those he touched. While he may no longer be with us in person, his memory lives on in the hearts and minds of his family and friends.

Family and friends are invited to pay their respects at the Charles F. Snyder, Jr. Funeral Home and Crematory, located at 3110 Lititz Pike, Lititz, PA 17543, from 10 AM to 12 PM.
