He transferred to East Tennessee State University in Johnson City, TN, and finished his college career at Millersville University.
He first worked for RCA as a machinist until the company sold to Burle Industries, and then Harry worked as a machinist for Pfizer until retirement.
Harry was stubborn in a good way, and he could fix anything with anything. He loved freshwater fishing wherever he found a pond, stream, or river. He enjoyed time spent at the homestead farm in Virginia, and visiting his brother and family in Orlando, FL.
He also loved going to the woods with Barbara and their sons, and while cutting wood going on an adventure to find elves! Yes folks, “There are elves in them there woods!”

Talbert, husband of Christine (Oliver) of Pequea, Christopher Ira Talbert, husband of Lori “Lu Lu” (Pizza) of York County, and Jeremy F. Talbert of Lancaster; six grandchildren, Abigail, wife of Trevor Hosterman of Colorado, Morgan, wife of Wesley Foor of Virginia, Elizabeth, fiancée of Hunter Shaak, Roslyn Talbert and significant other Luke Corona of Georgia, Jordan Talbert of Maryland, and Nicholas Talbert of Pequea; three great-grandchildren, Lucy and Wilder Hosterman, and Evelyn Michelle Foor; his sister, Doris Ann Conger of Ohio; three nephews, James Conger, Scott Conger, and Jeffrey Talbert; and two nieces, Danielle DeCarlo, and Norma Eltzholtz; and one brother-in-law, Charles Huss of Lancaster.
