Charles E. “Chuck” Arnold, 93

Charles E. “Chuck” Arnold, 93, of Lancaster, PA passed away June 24, 2017 surrounded by his loving family at The Glen, Lancaster, PA. Chuck was the loving husband of Charlotte (Sanders) Arnold for 72 years. Surviving in addition to his wife is a daughter, Nancy Arnold, of Lancaster; three sons, Keith Arnold of Sarasota, FL, Craig Arnold and wife, Susan (Filling) Arnold, Lancaster, John Arnold and wife Kristin (Haser) Arnold of Sewickley; and seven grandchildren: Thomas Elliott, Andrew, Douglas, Jack, Julie, Gregory, and Mitchell. Chuck is preceded in death by his sister, Marie (Nugent) and his brother, William.
After his service in the U.S. Army, Chuck graduated from Pennsylvania State University. He participated in school politics, and was a member of Parma Nu and the ATO fraternity.
An entrepreneur, Chuck had several rewarding careers, including president of Arnold Business Forms Co. and Real Estate. He enjoyed traveling with Charlotte, their favorite places to visit were Italy and China. His other interests included: Deacon of Forest Hills Presbyterian Church, Cleveland, OH, member of Highland Presbyterian Church, Past President-Cleveland Chapter, Penn State Alumni, member of Pennsylvania Sons of the Revolution, member of Northeast Rotary Club, member of Lancaster Penn State Club.
Relatives and friends are respectfully invited to attend the Celebration of Life Service for Charles on Thursday, June 29, 2017 at 11:00 AM at Willow Valley Manor North, Johnson Auditorium, 600 Willow Valley Square, Lancaster, PA 17602. In lieu of flowers, contributions may be made to Hospice & Community Care, P.O. Box 4125, Lancaster, PA 17604.
