Charles C. “Tim” Hutchinson, 88

Charles “Tim” C. Hutchinson, 88, of Lancaster, passed away on Tuesday at St. Anne’s Retirement Community.

He was the husband of Jean S. Stoll Hutchinson, with whom he would have shared 66 years of marriage this December 26^th. Born in Lancaster, Tim was the son of the late Arthur and Della Heagy Hutchinson.

He was a manager for Sherwin Williams, working for them for over 30 years until his retirement in 1982.

Tim was a US Coast Guard veteran of World War II, serving in both the Pacific and Atlantic Theaters as a Sonarman First Class.

He was an original member of the Conestoga Country Club, and enjoyed golfing and woodworking. In the early 1940s, he had played football with the West End Gray Ghosts.

In addition to his wife, he is survived by a son, Charles C. Jr, married to Kimberlee Hutchinson of Conestoga. He was preceded in death by his 6 brothers and 2 sisters.

Friends will be received on Saturday from 1030AM to 11AM at the Charles F. Snyder Funeral Home, 441 N. George St., Millersville, PA, with the memorial service to follow at 11AM. Interment will be private and at the convenience of the family.
