Cecily W. Rogers

Cecily Proctor Wright Rogers went to be with her Lord and Savior, on the morning of September 22, 2021 and is worshiping and glorifying Him, free from the pain she endured on earth.

Cecily was preceded in death by her father Dr. Ernest Bevier Wright and her mother Elizabeth Caldwell Wright (Whiting.)

Cecily leaves behind her daughter, Elizabeth R. Lepley and husband Aaron along with five grandchildren, son Patrick Rogers, sister Carol O’Hare, sister Charlotte Edilstein (Bob), sister Catherine Ransdell (John), and brother Ernie Wright as well as many beloved nieces and nephews.

Cecily was born on June 2, 1954 in Rochester, NY. Her family soon moved to Cooperstown, NY which quickly became her lifelong, favorite place. She enjoyed the town of Cooperstown and it’s quaint charm, boating on Otsego Lake, and playing tennis at the local country club. Cecily graduated from Boston College with a dual major of Theology and Psychology. She then went on to complete a Teaching Ministry degree at Rhema Bible College. Cecily was always learning and loved to study the Word of God. She loved to pray continuously for her family, listen to and sing along with worship music, and to read her Bible. She trusted her Creator and Savior with her whole heart and is now praising and glorifying Him forever.
