Dear Dan, Jean and Margie,
I was truely saddened to hear of your mother’s passing. Many of my fondest childhood memories are with all of you at your parents home. Remember playing baseball out back? and swimming in the creek? My father always admired your parents and spoke highly of them. When he worked on replacing the front porch of your house, he saved some of the old timbers. One of them is the mantle above our fireplace. Each time I dust it (and unfortunately, that is often enough!!)I remember our good times together. It was so touching to see Dan at my sister Cathy’s funeral last August. You are all in my prayers.

Dear Margie,
I am saddened to read of the loss of your mother. Please give my sincerest condolences to your family.
I still remember the first time I met her. I was an extremely nervous young man of nineteen, as I stood at your front door, prior to our first date. Your mother opened the door. She looked like she was seven feet tall standing there! I’m sure my voice was shaking with fear, as I explained who I was and why I was there. However, I quickly learned that she was an extremely kind, gracious, and caring woman.
May God bless her and your family,
An old friend from forty years ago, who still cares,
Bob Milley
