Condolences to the Family

May 30, 2018

To the entire family of Carolann, I want to express my sincere condolences. I became best acquainted with Carolann about ten years ago through her prayerful participation at St. John Neumann’s daily Mass and rosary. She was so faithful in her prayer life. She also taught religious education at SJN and was so passionate about sharing her love for Jesus and Mary with the students. Many years ago, she learned that I wanted to make a crown of thorns as a visual for teaching my class about Jesus’ passion. She told me she knew of a tree in Ephrata where she could take a few perfect branches for making this crown. The tree had thorns the length of my pinky and when Carolann came the next day, she had made the most perfect crown – an example of Jesus’ suffering. I could see, in this simple act, how Carolann always united any of her own suffering with that of Jesus. I pray she is at peace, finally in the arms of her Lord and Savior, Jesus Christ and his holy Mother Mary. I loved Carolann. May she rest in peace. Mary McCafferty

This world has lost a very special lady. Carolann Capizzi touched our hearts in so many ways, lighting up every room she walked into with her beautiful happy smile.
She loved everyone and was naturally devoted to her children and grandchildren, as well as her loving “blended” extended family, Ernie and Tina Capizzi and their children Jordon and Devon.
Cherishing celebrations with Tina and Ernie’s family, she was an incredible inspiration to the importance of unconditional love and the sanctity of family.
Our heart felt condolences,
Jim and Patty Farbo and family
