Dyane, your mother is my cousin. Your grandmother was my favorite aunt. Aunt Katie and Uncle Zimmy.
my brother John who is 3 years older than I am was closer to Carol than I was because of age differences. My brother passed away in 2019 due to complications from a stroke. I tried to get in touch with Carol to let her know but couldn’t find a way. I don’t know how I found your Facebook page yesterday. If there had been an email on it I would have used that. So I don’t know if you will ever get this note. I am so sorry that Carol has passed away. It looks like you inherited her curly hair. I knew she had two children and I knew your names. I kept in touch with aunt Katie over the years. When I was in Florida on business at Publix HQ in Lakeland I drove over to Winterhaven and took her out to dinner one year.I have been retired since 2009. My mother was a Zimmerman. My dad was a Moats. I hope this reaches you Dyane. My parents lived very long lives. Into their 90s but losing a loved one is never easy. Sincerely, Margaret Moats Hall
