Condolences to the Family

This is the first I saw that my cousin Carol passed away last year. So sad. She was always a wonderful, smart, loving lady.

To Carol’s Family,
As one of Carol’s cat fancier friends in CFA, I wish to express my sympathies. She was always pleasant, upbeat and positive. We both spent many decades in the classrom so we had more than cats to talk about. She loved her cats, the cat shows, and the whole “scene”. She earned the friendship of many in the cat fancy who will miss her dearly.

Dear Nancy, I was shocked to hear of Carol’s passing.  Carol and I worked together breeding American Shorthair cats for many years.  She invited me to her home many times and we always had lots of laughter together.  Carol was a vibrant and energetic person and she will truly be missed by all who knew her.  My thoughts are with you and all of your family.

Carol will be missed by many of her cat show friends. I have one of her American Shorthair cats, that she gave to me as a gift. I’m thankful to her for giving me such a beautiful cat. I will be forever grateful for the many things she taught me during my cat showing years . RIP my friend

Dear Schwartz Family,
I am deeply saddened to learn of Carol’s passing.  She was a very special lady whom I admired very much.  I have 4 of her cats; 3 ash & 1 jbt.  I would stop to visit her occasionally to get my kitten fix & also my Carol fix.  I received a text from her a week ago, so I had no clue of anything being amiss with her health. It was a Trump cartoon, which is something we exchanged frequently during the past year.  I’m just sick at heart for all of you.  I can’t imagine the world without her; taken way too soon.
Fondly,
Pat Hoffer

To the Schwartz family, especially Bill, my classmate and friend, I wish to extend my sincere condolences on Carol’s passing and sympathies to each family member.  Carol was a wonderful, warm and caring person to all those she met.  Most of my contact with Carol was throughout class work while we both attended Manheim Township High School, class of ’58.  Her memory will not fade and I can still see her smile and hear her laughter.  Sincere regards, John W. Musselman.

I knew Carol through the CFA shows.  She was a remarkable and caring woman. After I left the States and retired to St. Martin (Fr. West Indies), I learned that Carol was presenting an award in my name to the highest-scoring Japanese Bobtail at the annual Cat’s Incredible cat shows, a club which I had founded. I was very surprised and honored that she had begun doing this in my honor.  Carol had a strong love of cats and the people who owned them.  R.I.P., Carol.                                                Janet Bassetti

Such a shock to have lost Carol on this earth.   She was such a truly caring and loving person along with her extensive knowlege of so many things.   When I retired from judging in the cat fancy, Carol wrote a special poem, framed it and mailed it to me.   It is hanging on my wall in the family room where I see it daily, and will cherish it until I meet her again one day.   Lois Jensen

Carol texted me on her way to the hospital. We prayed for a successful surgery and for a healthy return. Upon hearing of her passing, it saddened us to lose our best friend and beloved client. Carol was a wonderful human being and friend. Over the many years we knew her, she always showed compassion and love to people and animals. Her sudden departure will forever leave a void in our lives. We ask the Lord to give all of us the strength and compassion to cope with the passing of our beloved Carol.
Respectfully,
Dr. Nasir Shah DVM
