Carol A. Thomson, 77

April 26, 2020

Carol A. Thomson, 77, of Willow Street, passed away on April 26, 2020 after a long and courageous battle with Parkinson’s disease. Born in Morristown, New Jersey, she was the daughter of the late Richard & Anne (Demicelli) Rich. She would have shared a 56th wedding anniversary with her soulmate, Robert “Bob” Thomson, on May 2.

Carol loved being a mother and grandmother. Spending time with her son and grandchildren was something she took advantage of as frequently as she could. When she wasn’t spoiling them, she would make time to spoil herself. Some may have considered her a professional shopper with the best taste.

Her love will live on in her husband Bob; son, Robert “Scott” Thomson, husband of Mary; grandchildren, Stephen, Dylan and Ashley all of York, and a host of nieces and nephews. She was preceded in passing by her brothers Robert and Donald Rich.

Due to the current pandemic, services will be held at the convenience of the family. Interment will take place at Willow Street United Church of Christ Cemetery in Willow Street, PA. In lieu of flowers, memorial contribution in Carol’s name may be made to Christian Missions in Many Lands at
CMML, Inc. P.O. Box 13, Spring Lake, NJ 07762-0013.
