I met Carl when I moved to New York to join Standard & Poor’s. Carl was a mentor as well as a friend. He helped me to find my way in my new city and became a life-long friend.
When he moved to PA, we kept in touch and his life evolved as all lives do. Carl followed his interests and found a good home in the state that I left.
One does not say goodbye to a friend of nearly 40 years. One says, "Thank you for being my friend and showing me the way when I began life in a new city."
To his family, please know that Carl was the type of person that took the time to help others and I believe gained happiness from seeing someone become successful through his help. Because of him, I have helped others as well.
Carl is a friend that I hope all people have in their lives.
