Candelaria Dominguez, 85
Candelaria Dominguez, 85, died on Sunday, January 8, at Conestoga View after an illness.
Mrs. Dominguez was born in Vega Baja, Puerto Rico, and came to Lancaster in 1983. She was the daughter of the late Cresencio Dominguez and Juana Nieves. She was married to the late Tomas Cruz, who died in 1951, and the late Amador Rodriguez who died in 1980.
She was of the Pentecostal faith. Candelaria enjoyed quilting, and singing church hymns.
Candelaria is survived by children, Carmen Ana Raimundi, wife of Tomas, Vega Baja, Puerto Rico; Tomas Cruz, husband of Maria, of Tarpon Springs, FL; Aracelis C. Boltz, wife of Ray R. of Lititz; Alicia Montez, wife of Christopher of Reading; Ada A. Lopez, wife of Luis of Lancaster; and Ivan Rodriguez, husband of Lucia of Levittown, Puerto Rico; 12 grandchildren; and 5 great grandchildren. She is also survived by 4 brothers and 7 sisters, all living in Puerto Rico.
She was preceded in death by grandchildren Nelson Jr., Marco, and Monty Montez.
Funeral Services will be held on Thursday morning at 11:30 AM at the Charles F. Snyder Funeral Home Inc., 414 E. King St., Lancaster, PA. Interment will be in Conestoga Memorial Park. Friends may attend the viewing on Wednesday evening from 6-8 PM. A second viewing will be held on Thursday morning from 10:30-11:30 AM. Please omit flowers.
