Camille “Chickey” M. (DiBattista) Theis. 76, of Lancaster passed away on Sunday, January 24, 2021. Born in Lancaster PA she was the daughter of the late Catherine C. (Mauro) and Alessandro DiBattista. She was the beloved wife to the late Clarence Theis.
Camille was a member of St. Philips the Apostle Church. Prior to retirement she was employed by Millersville University for over 17 years. She enjoyed cooking for her family, baking with her children and grandchildren. Camille also enjoyed taking vacations to the beach. Most of all she cherished family gatherings. Camile was the matriarch of the family will be remembered for her unwavering support and love.
She is survived by her children: Troy King of Lancaster Bob Dickel, Jr. (Holly) of Lancaster, Stefanie Dickel of Lancaster and Gina Meringer (Robert) of Mt. Joy; her grandchildren: Andrew, Tia, Richard, Jesse and Craig and her 6 great-grandchildren; her sisters Grace Ross of Ohio and JoAnn Book of Lancaster as well several nieces and nephews. Camille was preceded in death by her sons: Drew S. and Darryl King; her granddaughter Heather King; sister Sandra Resh and great-grandson Troy .
Funeral Services will be held at 10:30AM on Wednesday, February 3, 2021 at the Charles F. Snyder Funeral Home and Crematory, 441 N. George Street, Millersville, PA 17551. Family and friends will be received from 9:30AM until the time of service. Interment will follow at St. Joseph New Catholic Cemetery.
In lieu of flowers, memorial contributions may be made to Millersville Pet Pantry, 26 Millersville, PA 17551 or to the SPCA Lancaster, 848 S. Prince Street, Lancaster, PA 17603.
