He is also survived by two sisters: Jane Stowell of College Station, TX and Mary Jane Plank of Lancaster, and by a brother, Richard Myers of Lancaster.
Jim was a 1962 graduate of Stevens Trade School and worked for Phillips Industries, formerly RCA and Burle, for 39 years before retiring in 2004. Jim possessed a strong Christian faith and was a former member of Calvary Baptist Church. Jim’s greatest joy in life was his family and being surrounded by loved ones in his home. For many years, he and his wife, Connie, made annual trips to Florida and he enjoyed do-it-yourself home and auto repair projects out of his garage.

Chris,
Very sorry to hear of the passing of your Father. It is a very small world, however, that he used to attend Calvary Baptist Church. My Sister and Brother in Law were part of that church for years!
I’ll pray for you and your family during this difficult time.
