Dear family-   Our mother, Alverta Hostetter, cherished your dad and your mother. Mom and Ruth were lifelong friends. My mom always looked forward to their visits to Florida and was etremely grateful to your dad for his help fixing things around her place. We remember both of your parents from church when we were kids growing up.
Our best wishes to all or you,    Claudia Hostetter and Pam Hjelm

My thoughts and prayers go out to all of Howard’s family.  I am so sorry that I was not able to attend the service yesterday.  He was a sweet sweet man full of life and laughter and song.  I will never forget our singing sessions down the halls.  I would start the simple “Good Morning…” and he would quickly chime in and instantly perk up my day.  He was always good for “76 Trombones” or “Off We Go”, too.  Howard was my dear friend and song expert during my music activities, and would always laugh at my terrible jokes.  I loved his amazing personality and spunkiness and his devotion to family and friends.  He will truly be missed.
Fondly,

Howard was very special to all of us @ UZRC. I remember him at the men’s table in Personal Care with Bernie many years. They were then moved to Nursing–friends forever!! Howard was singing when we transported him to chapel, or dining room, or activities. We will miss him. Blessings to his family as you celebrate his homegoing to his eternal home.  Doris Russell–former cook, now volunteer
