Bruce F. Stigelman, 71

Bruce F. Stigelman, 71, of Bausman, PA, passed away on February 1, 2017. Born August 14, 1945, in Lancaster, PA he was the son of the late Benjamin F. and Grace (Funk) Stigelman.
Bruce was a graduate of J.P. McCaskey High School and American University, Washington D.C. He also served in The United States Air Force as an airman. Following that, he obtained a teaching certificate in History, from Millersville University. After college, Bruce worked for a number years as a store manager for several department store chains to include W.T. Grant. He also worked as a night auditor for several Lancaster County hotels before retiring. Bruce enjoyed nature, feeding his beloved birds and squirrels, yardwork, reading, spectator sports, a great steak, musicals, and spending time with his family. He had a generous heart and a laugh that lit up the entire room, as well as a natural talent for soccer at his age. A great friend, brother, and uncle who will be dearly missed.
Surviving is a brother, Benjamin Stigelman; nephew, Christian Stigelman, husband of Rachael, with grandnieces: Cheyenne, Cierra, Mikayleigh, Nadeline and Avelene; nephew, David Stigelman with grandnieces: Arielle and Anneliese; Ilira Yang; grandnephew, Stig Yang; and their mother, Haiping Yang.
He was preceded in death by a nephew, Jonathan Stigelman husband of Haiping Yang.
Friends will be received from 10-11 AM on Tuesday, February 7, 2017 at the Charles F. Snyder, Jr. Funeral Home & Crematory, 3110 Lititz Pike, Lititz, PA 17543. A Memorial Service will begin at 11 AM following the visitation. Bruce will be laid to rest at Grace U.M. Church Cemetery, Millersville.
