Bruce A. Baxter, 30
June 21, 2022
Bruce Alan Baxter, 30, of Columbia passed away on Saturday, June 21, 2022.
Born in Lancaster, he was the son of Dina Keller (Lititz) and Brian Baxter (Columbia). Bruce was a 2010 graduate of Milton Hershey School and attended Lehigh University.
Bruce discovered and shared the kindest, tenderest treasures of life, extending them to many others, especially older people including his grandparents, uncles and aunts. As a child, he enjoyed spending time outdoors biking, playing soccer, hunting squirrels, camping and fishing. He was an avid Eagles and Phillies fan. Bruce enjoyed reading about history.
He was, some might say, a “people pleaser” in the best sense of that phrase. Bringing happiness and laughter to others gave him an uncommon pleasure. Bruce had a smile and an infectious laugh that could touch anybody’s heart.
Bruce will be missed everyday by his mother, Dina; father, Brian (Sherry); brother, Brandon Moll of Marietta; two sisters, Aprille Hollister and Jaimie Loraw; his grandparents, Carol and Roger Groce of Mt. Gretna and Richard and Kathy Keller of Carlisle; as well as many aunts, uncles and cousins. He was preceded in death by his grandmother, Bobbi Baxter.
A Funeral Service will be held Thursday, July 7, 2022 at 11AM at Charles F. Snyder, Jr. Funeral Home, 3110 Lititz Pike, Lititz, PA. A visitation with family will be held from 10AM until the time of the service.
In lieu of flowers, memorial contributions in Bruce’s memory may be made payable to Milton Hershey School Alumni Association, 109 McCorkel Road, Hershey, PA 17033, and in the memo line please indicate in Memory of Bruce Baxter 2010.

Condolences to the Family

I remember Bruce when he was in elementary school in Lititz. He was such a kind child and I’m positive that carried over into adulthood. I’m so very sorry for your loss. I will carry Bruce in my heart.

My sincere condolences to Bruce’s Family. Bruce was one of my first friends at the Milton Hershey School, and we’d been friends ever since 10th grade. He was a stand up guy who would give you his last dollar if you needed it. He always gave great advice and was a great friend when you needed someone to talk to. I will miss him dearly. Rest In Peace buddy.

I knew him from Darrenkamp’s in Mount Joy. He was one of my supervisors whom I worked under. I remember he would frequently hand me five dollar vouchers, to be used at the store, for doing a good job. There was even one Thanksgiving, after one of my late mother’s surgeries, that Bruce invited me over to his family’s home to be a part of their holiday meal. Bruce made everyone around him know that he appreciated them. He was fun to be around, always joking, and a genuinely good person.

Deepest sympathies to the whole family, especially Dina and Brian. No words for such a loss.
