Beverly Jarvis Williams, 88
November 11, 2017
Bev Williams, 88, of Lancaster, PA, was called home to her Lord and Savior on November 11, 2017 at Conestoga View Nursing Home surrounded by her loving family. Born in Syracuse, NY, she was the daughter of the late Leon & Viola (Burkhart) Jarvis. Bev was the loving wife to the late Willy M. Williams.
Bev would like everyone to know that her work here is done. She received an offer from Heaven she couldn’t refuse. Her new mission takes her to a beautiful new place where she will continue to spread joy and laughter. She was a woman of strong faith, loved helping others, animals, scrapbooking, gardening, birdwatching, reading & writing poetry and Christmas music. She attended the Bridge United Methodist Church in Mount Joy. Bev’s greatest joy in life was being with her large family both near and far. She loved talking, laughing, telling stories and baking apple cakes for her “favorite son”. She was unconditionally encouraging and supportive to those she loved.
She and her family whole-heartedly thank the special care givers at Oak Leaf Manor in Millersville and Conestoga View Nursing home who invested their time, energy and hearts getting to know her and appreciated her kindness, spunk and sense of humor. A special thanks to those during her last days who graciously demonstrated compassion and loving support as she transitioned to her new life.
Surviving children: Gary Williams, husband of Bonnie, Kathi Colbert, wife of Steve, Cindy Thatcher, Terri Teaman, wife of Denny, Mike Willems, Trudy Williams, Karl Willems, husband of Karen, Beth Berndt, wife of Marty, and Tina Hooven, wife of Mike; 15 grandchildren, 12 great-grandchildren and 3 great-great-grandchildren.
Bev is preceded in death by all her siblings: Bob, Jim & Jack Jarvis, and Jeanne Mader.

I am so sorry to hear about Bev’s passing. We were room mates for4 years when I lived with my aunts family in Syracuse. I have thought about her & included her in my prayers for a long time. I am sure she was ready.
My sympathy to all of her family.
God Bless,
Ellen Nortz Zimmer
