Betty A. Hutchinson, 78

Betty A. Hutchinson, 78, of Lancaster, entered into rest , Sunday, May 15, 2011 at Hospice of Lancaster, Mt. Joy, after a long illness. Born in Lancaster, she was the daughter of the late Robert and Margaret (Rostick) Deichler. Betty was the wife of the late Harry Hutchinson, who passed away in 2006.

Betty was the owner and operator of Stan’s Meat Market. She was previously employed at Schick, Harvest House, and Hamilton Watch. She was a member of St. Philip the Apostle Catholic Church, a life long member of Riverside Camping Assoc., 7^th Ward, Millersville VFW Post 7294, and Knights of Columbus. Betty was an avid Bingo player.

Betty is survived by 3 sons; Robert Hutchinson of Lancaster, Thomas Hutchinson of Lancaster, and Jeffrey Hutchinson husband of Lisa of Millersville. And 6 grandchildren.

She was preceded in death by a grandson.

A Christian Prayer Service will be held Wednesday, May 18, 2011 at the Charles F. Snyder Funeral Home & Crematory 441 N. George St. Millersville 17551 at 11a.m. with Rev. Mark E. Weiss as Celebrant. Family and friends will be received before the service at the Funeral Home from 10:30 until 11. Interment will follow at St. Joseph New Catholic Cemetery.
