Benjamin Metzler Neideigh, Jr., 73

Benjamin M. “Ben” Neideigh, Jr., passed away peacefully and surrounded by family on May 28, 2025. Born in Lancaster, he was the son of the late Benjamin Sr. and Margaret (Counts) Neideigh. He was married 52 years to his beloved wife, Jean (Kerschner) Neideigh.
Ben was a graduate of Warwick High School and received his bachelor’s degree from Lebanon Valley College. He worked until his retirement in the advertising industry being a creative writer and jingle-maker for various companies in Lancaster County. Ben was a talented writer and poet, was extremely intelligent and witty, and was a devoted husband and father. He had a passion for all things trivia, Star Trek, and Philadelphia sports teams. He enjoyed listening to jazz music and the Beach Boys, collected countless CDs, and liked to collect model cars and airplanes.
In addition to his wife, Ben is survived by his son, Matt Neideigh, daughter-in-law, Ula Neideigh, and granddaughter, Maya.
Services will be at the convenience of the family. In lieu of flowers, please consider memorial contributions in Ben’s name to Ann B. Barshinger Cancer Institute, 2102 Harrisburg Pike, Lancaster, PA 17601.

Ben was very special! He saw people for who they were not their outward appearances. In relatively, the time we knew him was short, we had great conversations and fun times together with he and Jean.
Ben will surely be missed and the world has lost a good man.
