Condolences to the Family

I worked as an RN on Barb’s transitional care unit right out of nursing school. She was a mentor to me – I learned so much about nursing and her belief in my abilities helped me to gain confidence , going on to be a charge nurse for her. She was more than a nursing mentor – I considered her my friend and looked up to her as a woman with so much  compassion, knowledge and kindness. She went above and beyond to help support me and and I will never forget she even came all the way to Atlanta to be a guest at my wedding when I got married . She was a wonderful woman and touched my life greatly. My sincere condolences and prayers to her family.

Barbara Kent was a wonderful Nurse and especialy a wonderful supervisor on the Transitional Care Unit at LGH.
I was lucky enough to know her and she had faith in me as a new nurse.  I am sorry to hear about her death.
She deserved so much more recognition because she had integerity and vision.  I will keep your family in my prayers at this sad time.
