Barbara A. Stevens, 88, of Lancaster, PA, passed away on August 14, 2017 at Conestoga View Nursing Home. Born in Lancaster, she was the daughter of the late Jacob H. and Grace H. (Haar) Shelley. Barbara was the wife to the late Elwood W. Stevens.
She was a member of Pearl Street United Methodist Church. Barbara enjoyed knitting and watching movies. She was also an avid reader.
She was the loving mother of Robert W. Stevens, George T. Stevens and Ron K. Stevens. Barbara was a proud grandmother to three grandchildren. She was preceded in death by three siblings: Dennis, Charles and Kathleen Shelley.
Friends will be received from 10-11 AM with a Memorial Service to begin at 11 AM on Monday, August 21, 2017 at the Charles F. Snyder, Jr Funeral Home & Crematory, 3110 Lititz Pike, Lititz, PA 17543. Barbara will be laid to rest at Cedar Lawn Cemetery. In lieu of flowers, contributions may be made to Conestoga View Nursing Home, 900 E. King St, Lancaster, PA 17602.

Our parents George&Phyllis Hamilton were good friends of Barbara and your family back in the day when we all attended Saint Stevenson Lutheran church. Our parents continued their friendship with your mother up until their death . You may not remember us but we sure do remember growing up with you.
