Audrey K. Thoms, 89, passed peacefully at St. Luke’s Hospice, Bethlehem, PA, on Tuesday 5/27/2025. She was born in Lancaster, PA, to the late Frank and Esther (Mattern) Keller.

Audrey celebrated 29 years of marriage to Edward R. Thoms, before his passing in 2020. Her first husband, and the father of her three children, Victor J. Standish, died in 2008.

Audrey grew up in Lancaster and was a 1954 graduate of Lancaster Catholic High School, where she participated in various sports, clubs, and cheerleading. After high school she kept close ties with her classmates and was very active in planning the class reunions.

For 16 years she worked in the Lancaster CPA firm, Sager, Swisher & Co, performing various accounting and tax duties for local clients. She was also very involved in her children’s activities, which included coaching basketball and being a Scout leader. She loved all sports and was an avid Notre Dame fan. In later life, she took up golf and she and Ed enjoyed hitting the greens in Siesta Keys, Florida, where they were snowbirds every winter for 20 years.

Audrey was a devoted wife, mother, grandmother and friend. Family vacations to the Outer Banks, North Carolina and Cape May, New Jersey created many fond memories over the years. She loved to entertain both family and friends, and holidays were always momentous occasions, with no shortages of food and festivities. She enjoyed cruises, the beach, the casinos, and her beloved cat, LunaBelle. She had been a member of Salem Lutheran Church in Lititz and an active participant in the VFW Auxiliary.

Audrey is survived by her children Scott Standish, husband of Jeanine of Lancaster, and Susan (Standish), wife of Zachary Lysek of Bethlehem. Audrey was preceded in death by her daughter Sally Ann (Standish), wife of Gary Jones of Naples, Florida, and her sister Mary Ann (Keller) Miller. Audrey is also survived by two stepchildren, Patricia, wife of Lou Franklin of Dillsburg, and Kathy, wife of Gary Rubright of Lancaster. In addition, Audrey had 8 grandchildren: Kyle, Kelsy, Emerson, Carter, Josh, Jim, Christy and Jenny; and 8 great grandchildren.

Friends and family will be received from 10am to 11am on Tuesday, June 3, 2025, at Charles F. Snyder, Jr. Funeral Home & Crematory, 3110 Lititz Pike, Lititz, PA 17543. A Funeral Service will follow beginning at 11am. Interment will be held privately at the convenience of the family.
