I have such treasured memories of Arlene and her family. I have found myself thinking of her over the years and remembering the years the children were growing up. I knew Arlene from Wheatland Hills. We were neighbors. I still talk of "my Greek friend" who shared so much of her life with me. Actually the memories are countless. It has been some time since we were in each others lives, but it seems only yesterday. I know you all will miss her. She was such an encourager and inspired so many to press on even when the times got really rough. I will continue to remember my courageous friend. May the Lord of Life carry you in His loving arms. Keep on loving each other as she loved you.

To Allie and your family, I am so sorry for your loss.  Your mom was such a great woman and I’m glad I had the chance to get to know her.  She was always so motherly and loving and made me feel welcome in her home.  You are all in my thoughts and prayers during this difficult time.  With my deepest sympathy.

I was so sorry to hear about the passing of my old friend Arlene. I lived in the house behind hers in New Jersey, she was one of the most giving people I’ve ever known, classy, beautiful, kind, funny, warm, a TRUE friend, and an extremely loving and supportive wife and mother. I haven’t seen her for many years as I live on the west coast now, but I’ll never forget her or her family, they have never been far from my thoughts. My heart goes out to Ivan, Georgette, Tori, Allie and Phil. I’ll always cherish the memories of the times we spent together, she will be missed. Love and miss you old friend…and we will see each other again someday.
