I will always remember being in awe of Aunt Arlene and her outstanding cooking!!!!! Her gardening was unmatched and she always shared when thinning out her plants!!!! A little bit of the still growing up in North East Pa. She was so welcoming and my Dad loved talking food with her. You will be missed by many and loved always.

My deepest sympathy to Marilyn, Ron, Greg, and Brian on the passing of your mother. She was a great lady who contributed to the upbringing of all the kids in our neighborhood. The phrase, “It takes a village” certainly applied to Silver Spring Rd. I remember great crab parties in your backyard (yours was the nicest), baseball games in the field across the street and our mothers calling us in for supper, peddling magazines and stationary to your Mom and her infinite patience helping us to define our sales goals. And I remember your mother trusting my new babysitting skills, allowing me to change my first diaper (Brian’s) and manage you kids while our parents went out to dinner together. We had idyllic childhoods thanks to our fine parents. Your Mom shared in our joys and sorrows and I will remember her with fondness.

Lena was one of my favorite ladies. I loved talking with her. She always could make me laugh. We shared our love of gardening and cooking.
My regret is Covid kept me from visiting her at Oak Leaf. Loved her smile and sweet giggle.
A beautiful lady inside and out. So many fond memories. We will always be so appreciative for allowing us to stay at her 7 Springs condo. A favorite place of ours and we we happy to spend a weekend there.
Our sympathy to each of her children. She loved you all and I know you will truly miss this special lady.
