Antoinette DiMuro Sabino, 96

Antoinette DiMuro Sabino, 96, of Lititz, PA, passed away Thursday, May 16, 2019, at Pleasant View Retirement Community in Manheim, PA. She was born in Manhattan and raised in the Bronx, the daughter of the late Frank and Cesarina (Brescia) DiMuro.

She enjoyed 58 years of marriage to her husband Joseph V. Sabino before his death on March 30, 2008.

A homemaker, Antoinette had attended St. John Neumann Catholic Church in Lancaster, PA, and she previously volunteered at the Craft Bazaar. She was a great seamstress, knitter, cook and baker, and was famous for her eggplant parmesan.

Surviving Antoinette are her two daughters, Marie, wife of David Bernardon and JoAnne, wife of John Zliczewski, both of Lancaster, PA, and seven grandchildren and seven great-grandchildren.

In addition to her parents and husband, Antoinette was preceded in death by her 4 younger brothers.

Antoinette’s family will receive friends during a viewing on Saturday, May 18, 2019, from 3 to 5 PM at the Charles F. Snyder Jr. Funeral Home & Crematory, 3110 Lititz Pike, Lititz, PA 17543.

Continued services will take place at Frederick Funeral Home, 192-15 Northern Boulevard, Flushing, NY, on Sunday, May 19, 2019, from 2 to 5 PM and 7 to 9 PM. Funeral Mass at 9:15 AM at St. Luke’s Church, Whitestone, NY. Interment at St. Charles Cemetery, Farmingdale, NY.
