Anne T. Murphy, 89

Anne T. (Connolly) Murphy, 89, of Lancaster, died Sunday, July 7, 2013 at Heart of Lancaster Regional Medical Center, Lititz.
Born in County Leitrim, Ireland, she was the wife of Patrick Murphy of Lancaster, and the daughter of the late Patrick and Mary (Rooney) Connolly.
She was a member of St. John Neumann Catholic Church, Lancaster, where she was involved with the holiday bazaar craft group.
Anne was a great mother, homemaker, and cook who enjoyed Irish music and dance and reading. She had an amazing green thumb.
In addition to her husband of 63 years, she is survived by her children: Patricia M. Murphy and her husband Richard Eisenhart of Lancaster; Geralyn Murphy of Etters; and Kevin P. Murphy and his wife Annette of Hawthorne, NJ; seven grandchildren: Aisling, Ciara, Scott, Cormac, Kasey, Kelly, and Michael; two sisters: Rose Brophey and Kathleen Leavy; and two brothers: James and Joseph Connolly. She was preceded in death by a daughter, Margaret A. Murphy, a sister, Lizzie Louden, and a brother, Thomas Connolly.
A Mass of Christian Burial will be held at 11 AM on Tuesday, July 9, 2013 at St. John Neumann Catholic Church, 601 E. Delp Rd., Lancaster, PA with Msgr. Richard A. Youtz as Celebrant. The family will receive friends at the church one hour prior to the service. Burial will be in St. Anthony’s Cemetery, Nanuet, NY. The family respectfully asks that flowers be omitted.
