Anne M. Glouner, 72
August 14, 2024
Anne M. Glouner, 72, of Willow Street, was welcomed into the open arms of Jesus on Wednesday, August 14, 2024, at Hospice & Community Care, Mount Joy. Born in Lancaster, she was the beloved daughter of Anthony and Dolores M. Shultz Geiger. Anne was the loving wife of Daniel J. Glouner and for 51 years they loved, laughed and lived life together.
She was a proud graduate of Lancaster Catholic High School and later went on to work for John Hancock as a secretary. Anne was a God-fearing Christian who faithfully attended Grace Community Church of Willow Street. The beach is where Anne found peace. With the sand between her toes and salty sea air flowing though her hair, she would be found with a smile on her face. Collecting seashells, taking a stroll on the boardwalk and reading a good book while listening to the crashing waves were some of her most peaceful times here on earth. Her love of the outdoors also led her to gardening. She enjoyed attending crafts shows and creating beautiful meals and baked goods by scratch for her family to enjoy. Gift giving was her love language. She was always strong-willed and encouraging while always remaining positive.
Surviving in addition to her husband, Daniel, are two daughter, Rachel (Scott M.) Frederick, Melissa Glouner, five grandchildren, Natalie, Kadince, Brayden, Jackson, Anna, as well as five siblings, Bernadette (Richard) McBride, John (Sue) Geiger, Tom (Sally) Geiger, Joe (Jackie) Geiger, and Tony (Shon) Geiger.
Relatives and friends are respectfully invited to attend Anne’s memorial service at Grace Community Church of Willow Street, 212 Peach Bottom Road, Willow Street, PA 17584 on Friday, August 30, 2024, at 3:00 PM. Friends may visit with the family from 2:00 PM until the time of service.

I went to grade school and high school with Anne. We were good friends over the years and I will always remember her laugh. She always had a smile on her face that was contagious. My heart goes out to the family as I know she will be truly missed. What a wonderful person she was! Karen Ilvento McGinley

Dear Danny and family:
Anne and I shared so many memories of our childhood and teenage years and I will cherish them always. I know your heart is breaking as well as your daughters and grandchildren and I hope together they will ease your pain as time goes on. Jeanette and Ron Rice

Knew Dan and Anne since grade school at St. Joe. Will always remember her laugh. i think that’s one reason she fell in love with Dan because he is so funny. Hard to find in this day and age a couple who stayed so in love and faithful to one another for so many years. I know it’ll be difficult for you Dan to go on without her, but as I lost my wife over three years ago I know the pain does lessen. Keep the faith bro, you have a lot to live for, your children and grandchildren. I’m looking forward to going fishing with you in the future.

I went to LCHS with Anne but knew her mostly thru Danny who was a friend of my husband thru business at Dutch Valley (Danny and grew up on Cabbage Hill and went to St. Joe School). Anne was always kind, pleasant and so darn pretty. She had the biggest heart. I know Danny will be lost without her. Rest in peace, Anne.
