Sorry we didn’t get to offer our sympathies sooner, but we were away and just read the obituary in the Item when we returned. Our deepest sympathy to all of you.

Our Sincere sympathy.  We only met her once at Father Mike’s but she was a great person.

The Kazenses,  (Shawn Hentz’s in-laws)

I would like to extend my sincerest sympathy to the family of this beautiful lady. I was blessed to have met her while I was still in high school in the early 70’s when I worked at Berger’s Religious Store in Mt. Carmel. She was a humorous lady who could always provide laughter and a bright sense of happiness. She always had a glow, inward and outward. Even after not seeing her for many years in between, the next time I would meet her, she was the same personality I had come to know in Anna. I had taken care of her beautiful daughter Noel also, now they are reunited in God’s heavenly kingdom.
Blessings to the family who can be at peace knowing she is indeed at home with Our Heavenly Father.

Anna was a wonderful friend to our family (the Appleton family) and she was a beloved friend of my grandparents, James and Rita Olson. As a young girl I would always stop by her pew after church at Saint Philip Church to say hello to her. Since we both share the same first name we were instant friends and shared a connection.
She was a wonderful woman and she will be deeply missed. My grandmother Rita passed away about one month ago so I am glad that she is reunited with one of her truest friends.

~ Anna Appleton

Dear Bender Family,
Anna was a special person in our lives. We got to know her as members of St. Philip’s parish. Our two daughters enjoyed visiting with her after church and she always had a mint or a tic tac in her pocket for them. May she now enjoy her home in heaven and may she always be felt in your hearts.
Peace to you,
The Chris Appleton Family
