Ann L. Callihan, 61

Ann L. Callihan, 61, of Willow Street, entered into rest after a battle with cancer on Monday, August 21, 2006 at the Essa Flory Hospice Center.

Born December 20, 1944, in Gettysburg, she was the daughter of the late James H. and M. Madeline Rider Wiser. She was married to Ronald E. Callihan for 40 years.

Mrs. Callihan was a 1963 graduate of Lancaster Catholic High School. She was a member of St. Mary’s Catholic Church. She will be remembered as a devoted wife, mother, grandmother, and sister.

Surviving in addition to her husband are her children, Paula Brewer of Lancaster, and Pat Callihan, married to Chris of Lancaster, her grandchildren, Rebekah and Evan Brewer of Lancaster, and her brothers and sisters, Linda Childs, Patty Kriner, Paul Wiser, all of Lancaster, Mary Wiser of Drumore, Jim Wiser of Willow Street, and Larry Wiser of Centreville, VA. Ann was preceded in death by her brothers, David Wiser and Guy Wiser.

Ann’s Funeral Mass will be held at St. Mary’s Catholic Church, 119 S. Prince St., Lancaster, on Thursday, August 24, 2006 at 10AM. There will be no viewing but friends may be received at the church from 9AM until the time of service. Interment at St. Joseph New Catholic Cemetery. In lieu of flowers, Memorial Contributions may be made in Ann’s memory to Hospice of Lancaster County, P.O. Box 4125, Lancaster, PA 17604.
