Angela Michelle McNaughton Nauman, 49
September 29, 2024
On the evening of Sunday September 29, 2024, Angela Michelle McNaughton Nauman passed away at her home in Columbia, PA. Throughout her long battle with cancer, Angie was uplifted by her family, her friends, and her faith.
Born April 7, 1975. Raised in Elizabethtown, PA. Granddaughter of Ken & Clara Reighard. Angela excelled on the EAHS Swim Team, graduating with honors in 1993. She went on to achieve an Associate’s Degree in Criminal Justice at HACC.
Angie was ‘tough-as-nails’, with a heart of gold. Her strength, selflessness, and perseverance were unparalleled. Her career reflected her commitment to service; as Social Worker at DHS & CAP (retiring recently this year).
Whether enjoying family time at Ocean City, or countless road-trips to the Old Log Trail Camp; Angie was always ready to facilitate the next adventure (with her faithful dog, ‘Spike’ by her side). Her pals called her, “Ang-Man”. Her Mom called her “Angelina Ballerina”. Her husband called her “Love”. Her son called her “Mom”. No matter who you were, you called her; “friend”.
She never gave up. She loved and lived fiercely and fearlessly. She will forever be in our hearts.
Angela is survived by; Gene Nauman (husband), Scott Baker Jr. (son), Shirley Byron (mother), John Michael McNaughton (father), Cort Byron Sr. (stepfather), Yvonne McNaughton (stepmother), Corty Byron (brother), Michael McNaughton (brother), Jazlyn & Gene Nauman Jr. (stepchildren), as well as the extended surviving McNaughton, Reighard, Byron, and Nauman Families.
A ‘Celebration of Life’ will be held at Christ Church UCC, 247 S. Market St. Elizabethtown,
Friday November 1st, promptly at 10am. All are welcome.
In lieu of flowers; donations of remembrance can be made to American Legion Post 197 (PO Box 335 Bainbridge, PA 17502).

I am so sorry to hear of Angie’s passing. We were friends in high school, and I have many great memories of the really interesting conversations we’d have about all sorts of things. She was such a fun and kind person. My condolences to her family!

Oh Shirley and Gene, My sincerest condolences to you both and to your entire families. What a beautiful soul and smile that Angie carried with her Always. Angie helped so many people to fill out paper work, where the words could get jumbled but she understood it all and that meant so much. What a true Angel with a loving rough and rowdy side that I absolutely adored! Girl you’re going to be missed by many and I am so glad I had the opportunity to know you. Until we meet again my friend keep shining that smile in heaven 💜 in loving power hugs and prayers-Sue Hopple(Stone)

No one prepares you for loosing a friendship that has lasted for almost 30 years. The random flashbacks, the memories you wish you could relive with them. The laughs you’ll miss more than anything or having someone you can turn to who will never judge you.
We were going to grow old together and terrorize our husband’s well into our 90s.
I love you, I miss you, and this world is simply not the same without you.
I am greatful you are at peace and no longer in pain.
