Amos R. Wanner, 87

Amos R. Wanner, 87, of Ephrata, passed away at Ephrata Community Hospital, on Sunday, December 13, 2015. Born in Adamstown, Amos was the son of the late Daniel H. and Bertha (Worfel) Wanner. He was the loving husband of the late Betty Jane (Saylor) Wanner.
Amos worked for Ephrata School District in the maintenance department and retired in 1994. In his retirement, he enjoyed spending his time gardening.
Amos is survived by his son, Steven R. Wanner; step-children: Barry Saylor, husband of Mary, of Akron; Rick Saylor, of Delaware; and Sally Hunter, wife of Gary, of Drumore. He is also survived by nieces and nephews: Janet, William, Virginia, Roberta, wife of Kenny, Johnah, Ryland, and Carl.
Interment will take place at Memory Garden, Ephrata and will be private and at the convenience of the family.
