Condolences to the Family
September 06, 2023
Davetta, Jimmy and Sherry,
Was very sad that Carl and I were not able to see your Mother and my very best friend before her passing. We will surely miss her and all the fond memories we shared together. Our children were blessed to have known her as well and each has asked me to convey their condolances. Chad Johnson, my son was in the mountains with his Father and my Daughter, Christie Diller (Ernst) was unable to attend. We were blessed by Amanda Knouss who spoke on her behalf at the funeral and to see and hug all her children. Amanda hit the nail on the head in sharing such insite about Alice and we kept saying Amen, Amen Amen. My children and Carl’s son Ralph will also remember her. We would take the kids to Roller Skate at Overlook while we played cards or games on Friday nights when we were soo young and even wore our pajamas to each others houses so we could stay up late and then head home. We may not have been rich but we made the greatest fun with the richness of life together. Love and Blessings to all of you as you move forward with your lives!
Carole and Carl Ernst

Davetta, Jimmy, and Sherry,
I am so very sorry for your loss. I pray that peace will find you through fond memories with your mom! Those boat days with her baked beans… great memories that bring the best smiles.
Sending love to you all.
