Alecia L. Bowen

Alecia L. Bowen, 39, of Texas, passed away on Thursday, December 11, 2025. Born in Jacksonville, North Carolina, she was the daughter of Williard B. Bowen and Leann (Adams) Scales.

Alecia worked many jobs throughout her life, but she took great pride in being a homemaker. Outside of work, she spent time gardening, crafting, and starting new DIY projects around her home. She was an exceptionally versatile woman, mastering new languages, medical techniques, and mechanical skills with equal ease. Curious, quick-learning, and adaptable, she combined intellectual depth with practical ability in everything she did. She will be remembered for her easygoing nature, her humor, and her care for others.

Alecia is preceded in passing by her grandparents, Billie and Dallas Dishman. She is survived by her parents; her children, Natalia, Adryanna, Andres, Victoria, Xenia, Isabella, and Michael; her siblings Raeann, Dallas, Kenneth, Diana, Kayla, and Sierra; her maternal grandfather Wilson Adams; and her aunt Ginni Rice.

Services will be private at the convenience of the family.
