Albert Vernon Reed, Jr, 66, of Lancaster, went to be with the Lord on Thursday, June 16, 2016, at his residence.
Born in Lancaster, he was the husband of Catherine A. (Musselman) of Lancaster, to whom he was married 45 years. He was the son of Lorraine M. (Keller) Reed of Millersville, and the late Albert V. Reed, Sr.
Albert was an avid hunter and drove a truck for over 40 years.
In addition to his wife and mother, he is survived by 3 children: James A. and his wife Laura; Jason J. and his wife Tracy; and Stacy M. Hiester; 9 grandchildren: Abigail, Casandra, Chloe, Paige, Emma, James, Annabelle, Jason Jr, and Jaylynn; and siblings Michael Reed and his wife Carol of Pequea; Lynn Kut and her husband Jan of New Providence; Scott Reed and his wife Sue of Manheim; Dallyn Bireley and her husband Robert of Lancaster; and Mari Reed of Mountville.
Services will be private at the convenience of the family.
