My condolence to the Greener family. I was sorry to hear that Al went home to be with our Father. I had the opportunity to be to meet Al years ago at Christ the King Church. We attended YAK (young adult kinship) and enjoyed a lot of activities together.

I lived next door to Al on State Street for six years. I could not have asked for a better neighbor. He was always so caring and looked out for me and my daughter. We had many great conversations; he was such an interesting man. Al, I know you are up in heaven with Joe and your Mom and Dad. I will think of you every time I hear the Celtic Women sing. Miss you.

So sorry to learn of Al leaving this earth. I had the privilege of getting to know him years ago at a small group that met on Charlestown Rd. I appreciated his sensitivity and kindness to others and his integrity. This earth is a better place because of him.

My sympathies to the Greener family. I worked with Al while he was at UGI. He had a great laugh amd was alwys kind to everyone. If Al had a bad day, you didn’t know it. He left this world way too soon. He will enjoy fishing with the angels.
Sincerely,
Clair Kreider,Jr

So sorry for the loss of family. At times Al was more like a father to me than a cousin. He taught me more things and helped me fix more things than I ever could have repaid. Thanks for the gifts of your time and your skills/knowledge. The bible deosn’t say how fishing and crabbing will be in Heaven. But I trust with you, Joe, and Pop there you guys are finding a way…..Will miss you, but know that your spirit lives on through me and countless others. Thanks for helping to shape the man you leave behind.

I remember Al as being a deep thinker, not willing to speak until his words were well placed. His laugh was hardy and his broad smile and firm handshake was an instant bond of friendship. Dan Armstrong
