Dear Walton family, I attended St. Joe’s and Catholic High with Steve and I remember him always as a kind, wonderfully decent person. I haven’t seen him since then but he left an impression on me because of the type of person he was. I am sorry for your loss.

To Joe, Rachel and all the Walton family,
Steve was a wonderful guy! Growing up as a kid on the hill he was a little shy and soft spoken but always polite and kind. I still cherish those childhood memories of us all playing together on St. Joseph street! They were the best of times! May your own special memories and our God in heaven be a comfort to you at this time. To my childhood friend, I will see again someday. Rest now in Gods loving arms. With deepest sympathy.

Just wanted to let you know that Steve was a friend to me and my late husband, Earl. Steve would always help my husband with things around the house. Steve also would enjoy playing cards with us. I will miss Steve being the first to call and wish us well on the holidays. Steve continued to call and check in with me when my husband died last year. Again, I am sorry for your loss.
