Ronald R. Adams, 87
January 18, 2024
Ronald R. Adams, 87, of Manheim, passed away unexpectedly on January 18, 2024. Born in Reading, he was the son of the late Ira W. and Bernetha Adams. In August, he celebrated his 69th wedding anniversary with Delma L. (Bucher) Adams.
He retired from Sensenich Corporation after 45 years of dedicated service throughout different departments. He was a member of the Lititz Legion for many years.
Many will remember Ron for his daily travels on his golf cart to go out and feed the deer, chipmunks, squirrels, and local wildlife. As an animal lover and enthusiast, he enjoyed spending time and photographing the outdoors. After retirement, he developed a knack for woodworking creating everything from shelves to quilt racks and picnic tables. Many pieces his family still treasure.
Ron is survived by his wife Delma; children: R. Scott Adams (Kathy) and Robin A. Griffith; those who affectionately called him “Grampy” Eric M. Griffith, Megan A. Griffith (Abby), Clinton Adams (Megan), and Jackie Hess (Daniel); great-grandchildren: Dylan & Macy Griffith, and Abby & Elly Adams; and siblings; James “Bill” Adams (Carolyn), Bonita Connelly, and Sandy Diffenderfer (Larry). He was preceded in passing by his siblings: Virginia DeVeaux, Kenneth Adams, Thomas Adams, Donald Adams, and a brother-in-law, Carl Connelly.
Funeral services will be private and at the convenience of the family. Memorial contributions in Ron’s name may be made to the Wolf Sanctuary of PA.
