It still seems like a nightmare. I miss you terrible. My dreams are different now. It was all a joke, you were gone to get better, and you come back. The tears come and go. The days drift by. I hate that your gone. Never forgotten my girl.

I could write a book. The anger, saddness and regret..not keeping you closer as a friend in my early 20’s.. You were my bestfriend for sometime Nae. I miss you terribly. The many times I wish I could call you and tell you stuff and we’d laugh.
My daughter is turning 5 now. You are supposed to be here as her adopted crazy aunt. Adena Lanae will never get to meet you,but I get to tell her all about you and our friendship as teens. I have pics!
I have a reoccurring dream. We meet at a tree and we talk. Or argue. Thanks for always being there nae. I miss you sister.

We all loved Lanae. To us she was part of our family. Because she impacted our hearts with the inner joy that she had, she will always be with us. I had said once she was our light at work. Her name comes from Alana and Helen and Helen means "light."
We share our hearts with you.

I was a classmate of Lanaes. I talked to her every so often, but she was always a nice girl. I extend my thoughts and prayers to your family in this time of morning.
She will be carried in our hearts forever.
I remember Lanae from the days when she was at Hempfield rec center throwing her baton up doing her 2 spins and my daughter Bobby Leigh just learning how to do a 1 spin. Then we did not see Lanae for awhile and one day Bobby’s friend Robin told us to come to where her and Lanae work and go tanning.Lanae was always so kind to us.We will miss her!

I am very sorry for your loss. Lanae will always be remembered as a part of our family. Her laughter can never be forgotten and her smile lit up a room. When I heard of this news from my daughter Robin I felt totally sick. My prayers go out to your family.

Lanae was such a fun, happy and sweet person. I instantly connected with her and was so glad I was working with her. She was apart of our second family and made everyday fun at work and we will always miss her dearly. My thoughts and prayers are with her family.
Always,
Her friend & secondly her co-worker,
Ashley L. Riker
This is so unbelievable. It seems like just yesterday that Lanae and I were in Brownies and Girl Scouts together. We were inseparable from age 5 until 14. Even though we lost touch over the last 7 years, I still thought about her often. She was the first friend I ever had, and one of the best friends I ever had. I don’t understand why her life was cut so short; only 22 years old. I’ll never forget her. My thoughts and prayers are with your family. Lanae sure will be missed.
All my love,
Kristi
I am so so sorry to hear of the lost of you daughter. I can’t imagine the sorrow you must feel. Please be assured there is one who can comfort you and give you peace during a tragic time…you only need to draw near to him. He will give you the grace and hope to make it through this!
You and your family will be in my prayers…coping is much easier when others are praying you through!
I also pray that after your greiving, you will be able to to focus on and remember all the great times you had with Lanea and celebrate her LIFE instead of focusing on the loss of her.
Much Love and Prayers,
Heidi Horst and Family

We just learned of your loss today when Tom had breakfast with friends from the LCPD. You have our deepest sympathy & prayers at this difficult time. We don’t always understand His reasons, but must have faith that God is with us through it all. Lanae is with Him now & He will help all of you find peace & comfort. He is the Great Physician!!!
Tom is retired, but worked many years with Lt. Brown. We both have fond memories of him. Please give him a big hug from both of us & let him know he is in our thoughts & prayers as well.
Blessings,
Thomas & Maria Weber
